Fromt he year 1990 “Aurangabad College for Women was established. Since the HindiDepartment was founded.
That time Dr. Anita Rajurkar wasworking as the head of the Hind department. After her Dr. Naddaf sir was the head of the department till 2000. After the retirement of Dr. Naddaf sir from2003 to till date Dr. Kusum Rana is working in Hindi department in Senior Collegeas a Head of the Department, and Ishvar More is working in Joiner College in Hindi Department.
In Hindi department we conduct many college activities, every year. Activities like essay writing competition, Elocution competition, Sulekhan writing, Maharashtra Hindi Prachar Samati wardha and Maharashtra Hindi Bhasha Pune’s examination are held.
On occasion of “Hind Divas” 14thSept was celebrated every year and speakers were invited to speak on importanceof Hindi language. The ceremonies of the great authors also be celebrated.
In every year, students prepare wallpaper name ‘JAZBAT’ and displayed in the exhibition.
